Former coach Fabio Capello is confident that Inter Milan have the potential to overcome Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals.
Simone Inzaghi’s side beat Bayern Munich 4-3 in the last round and Capello praised their semi-final opponents for their excellent attacking play but also felt the Nerazzurri had the potential to deal with them.
However, in order to stop them, Capello feels that Inter will need to win the battle in midfield.

“Inzaghi certainly won’t give Yamal and Rafinha too much space up front. Barcelona’s players are too good to stop in open play and Lewandowski is a great finisher in the box, but Inter have the ability to close down spaces and keep the balance.”
“The challenge is to fight in midfield, with the class of Pedri and De Jong against the quality and power of Barella, Calhanoglu and Mkhitaryan.”
